Design & layout
Footprint, levels, stair placement and material direction sketched onsite.
A deck is structure first and furniture second. Footings below frost line, code-compliant ledger attachment, proper joist spacing and hidden fasteners — then the part you actually see: clean lines, level rails and a surface that stays comfortable barefoot in August.

We design around how you'll use the space: grilling zone, dining footprint, shade, privacy from the neighbor's window, and how the stairs meet the yard. Multi-level layouts, built-in benches, planters and pergolas all come out of that conversation rather than a template.
Then it's built like it has to survive a Massachusetts winter, because it does. Flashed ledger, protective joist tape, stainless or coated hardware, and decking fastened so nothing telegraphs or backs out in year three.
Single and multi-level decks framed from footings up, permitted and inspected.
Reuse sound framing or rebuild entirely once we've assessed the existing structure.
Wood, composite, cable and aluminum rail systems with code-correct stair geometry.
Benches, planters, skirting, privacy screens, pergolas and lighting.
Every project follows the same sequence, so you always know what's happening on site and what comes next.

Flashed ledger, taped joists, beams and posts set true and hardware to spec.
